hi shoestring, thank you for your message. strange, but decoupage is my favourite as well. i live th LE SUH booklets and their decoupage sheets, i think i have most of the books. i even enjoy the cutting out. i only been a true crafter for a year now, thats since i got Sky and learned craft skills from create and craft and QVC. i feel most of the girls here on the forum are card goddess but i am happy with my little old humble cards. i just make them for friends and family. i make all the folks i work with birthday and christmas cards. i think people would be disapponted if i brought a shop card now.
yes, i love my life and do what i want to do [within reason]. i am going to the NEC this year and look forward to meeting a lot of people there. are you going. once again thank you for taking the time to write to me, it means a lot to me, love june b

    Hi June!

it was lovely to hear from you. I'm so glad that you get so much pleasure from your craftwork. I think that its more important to have fun than to aim for perfection. Don't forget that all the forum ladies were beginners once! I'd like to bet that your cards are extremely good and that you are far too critical of yourself which I think we all are. I'm not sure whereabouts you are but its a good confidence booster to join a class and learn some new skills/improve on those you already have. Your local craft shop probably runs classes or your local college. Its great to hear that you make cards for friends and family because a handmade card is so much more special than a bought one. I wish you continued success and pleasure from your crafts and am dead jealous of you not having to spend time picking up after a man. You also get to craft when you want and not worry about the mess. Or are you one of those tidy and organised crafters? Its been lovely to chat with you, hope you keep in touch!
